How to enable COVID-19 Social History questions in your athenaNet  and your Epion Digital Check-In.


Due to the outbreak of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), our team at Epion Health wants to provide you with the tools you need to help ensure the health and safety of your staff and patients. 

AthenaHealth recently created a global Social History template for screening patients for the Coronavirus, labeled "2019 novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV)". 

The following video will instruct you how to enable these questions in your athenaNet as well as add them to your Epion Digital Check-In

Making Questions Required During Digital Check-In

Once you have successfully added the necessary questions in athenaNet, the questions will begin to appear during Digital Check-In.

However, Epion can make some or all of those COVID-19 questions required, ensuring that your patients answer those questions moving forward. 

To enable these questions as "Required" on Epion Digital Check-in, please contact support@epionhealth.com with the following information:

  1. Subject: Coronavirus (Covid-19) Required Questions
  2. Practice Name: 
  3. Name(s) of Portal Form(s) Questions Were Added To: (please list all)
  4. List of questions you would like required (or “ALL”)
